Sports Premium
At Chiltern Primary School we believe that all young people should have the opportunity to live healthy and active lifestyles. Physical activity has numerous benefits for both children's physical and mental wellbeing, including their education and their whole development.
We are committed to using our sports premium to develop high quality PE lessons, raising attainment in swimming, developing the daily mile, alongside greater opportunities for sporting competitions and clubs for all our young people. We strive to build physical activity into the whole school day with active lessons and lunchtimes. We have an active ambassador who represents each class to promote physical and mental well being who is part of the Junior Leadership Team.
Sport Premium Grant
Funding for schools will be calculated by the number of primary aged pupils. An average primary school will receive a lump sum on average of £18,000.
